DIY Kit for “The Laced-up Boots” (Felt for Lining as Add-On)

You can add some felt to your cart for lining the boots. The technique is covered in the tutorial.

If you want to line the boots, please let us know your measurements wrapping around your instep and at the broadest just before your toes. We would like to avoid sending you too much or not enough of the felt material.

You only need a few simple hand tools to do everything at home.
We are certain that even those who have never sewn or worked with leather before can easily finish this project.

For cold weather, the tutorial shows how to make these moccasins with laces in both low-top and boot styles. It also shows how to add a sheepskin or other warm lining. Making soles, making leather balm, and more ways to use leather scraps are also covered.

The Kit includes:
- A large piece of leather to make the lower part of the moccasins (bottom)
- A smaller piece of leather to make the upper part of the moccasins (top)
- An Awl
- A Belt Punch (4 mm - 1/8 inch)
- Some Waxed Thread
- 2 Saddlers Needles

The Kit does NOT include:

- the felt for lining the boots
- the printed patterns
- extra leather or rubber for soles
- scissors

The tutorial and patterns are in digital format. To reduce the price of postage, we do not send the printed patterns, but if you can't print them easily on your side, please let us know, and we will gladly add them to your package.
